Hello, this is Kevin from Family Credit Repair and today we are briefly going to talk about how chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcies may or may not affect your credit repair program.
Although there are a lot of minor differences between a chapter 13 and chapter 7 bankruptcy in regards to credit repair, there’s one major difference that you need to be aware of. And this is, the length of reporting time. Now for a chapter 13 bankruptcy, Credit bureaus will report thank bankruptcy for 7 years. Not the same when you are talking about a chapter 7. Credit bureaus will actually report your chapter 7 bankruptcy for a full 10 years. So this is something you need to definitely consider when deciding which bankruptcy is a better fit for you and your situation.
